The Mongolian Early Childhood Development Network (MECDN), co-led by Lorinet Foundation and UNICEF Mongolia, was established in 2022 to address fragmentation in Mongolia’s early childhood sector. This inaugural progress report captures the network’s formation journey, milestones, and collective impact to date. With over 30 member institutions spanning education, health, protection, and nutrition, MECDN has emerged as a dynamic platform for connectivity, knowledge exchange, and policy engagement. The report showcases achievements in fostering collaboration, advancing integrated ECD policies, and raising public awareness. As the network transitions into its next phase, MECDN will focus on shared governance, expanded outreach, improved public awareness and evidence-based decision-making.
